Georgia Optometric Association Fall Conference 2021

This conference will provide attending Optometrists an opportunity to receive 15 COPE hours plus 1 hour of non-COPE Georgia Laws and Rules for a total of 16 hours of continuing education (CE).  Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with over 40 vendors, network with longtime friends, and meet new colleagues. Please contact the Georgia Optometric Association directly if you would like more information or if you are a Vendor wanting to register for Exhibit Space.

One low conference fee covers CE registration, access to online registration materials, continental breakfast, lunch and AM and PM Breaks both Saturday and Sunday.

Significant reductions in the conference fee for early registration (fee paid) on or before October 1, 2021. To qualify for GOA Member rate, you must be a member in good standing as of August 31, 2021.

The UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel registration desk will be open a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the first lecture of each day and will remain open until the last lecture of the day begins.

Valid name badges will serve as tickets to the conference and must be worn by attendees for admission in the lecture hall. Entrance and Exit of course attendees will be monitored to meet State Board regulations and COPE requirements.

Attendees may only be absent from any class for a maximum of 10 minutes per hour of lecture.  If an attendee must leave during a lecture and is absent for more than 10 minutes, he/she will not receive credit for that course.  However he/she will be allowed back into the lecture hall.

Credit Information:
Fifteen COPE-Approved hours plus on hour of non-COPE Georgia Laws and Rules for a total of 16 hours of continuing education (CE) will be offered. Be sure to bring your ARBO OE Tracker Card or use the OE Tracker Mobile App. Download the OE Mobile App. The ARBO Scanning System and QR Codes will be used for monitoring attendance for your education credit.

Event Cancellation Policies:
(1) A cancellation received by 5:00 p.m. ET on or before October 15, 2021, will be refunded, minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be issued thereafter. (2) To change or cancel your registration, call (706) 542-3537, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. (3) If an event is cancelled for any reason, the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel will not be responsible for any charges related to travel.

Hotel Costs:
Room with one King or Queen Bed = $114/Night
Room with two Queen or Double Beds = $154/Night

Please use room group code 93800 when reserving a hotel room.

Note, reserving a hotel room does not register you for the conference. Please use the red box titled REGISTER ONLINE to register for the conference.

Additionally, by registering for this conference it does not secure a hotel reservation and must be done separately if hotel stay is required.
