Techniques for Being an Effective Leader in a Non-Managerial Position
Are you in a non-management position but responsible for running projects and hosting meetings? Through this course, non-managerial staff will learn techniques and strategies to identify and lead projects, manage successful meetings, and engage co-workers to fulfill work requests.
Target Audience: PSO faculty and staff holding positions requiring leadership duties but who are not in managerial roles.
Learning Outcomes:
- Improve communication skills to specifically resolve conflict and tension with peers.
- Understand how to approach a difficult situation or conversation.
- Learn strategies to leverage your communication skills to address others who think differently.
